The shading, measured rather than eyeballed
Two panels sit in that shadow. Panel level optimisers were specified for those two only, which is the difference between a two hundred pound line item and a nine hundred pound one.
Why we said no to a battery
The saving a battery would have added, at this self-consumption and these tariffs, did not clear its own cost inside its warranty. That may change. It had not changed at the time of the quote, and saying so is the job.
